This is in the same five-subject notebook as the text of D Is For Damien. The cover illustration is the title, with the words "Shriner Caper" in block print, and of course there is a little fez perched atop the S in Shriner. Take note that I frequently abbreviated Damien's name as "Dami" and Lucifer's name as "Luce" in the narration; I do not use these nicknames for them in narration/exposition anymore, and believe I did it only in this text to save space (a lot of the print is cramped, like I felt I was running out of room). Also, my spelling in this is atrocious.
A disclaimer: I wasn't aware at the time of this writing how long it often takes Freemasons to go through all the degrees necessary to become a Shriner--hence, most of my Shriners are quite young. (I see some rather young-looking Shriners in ads nowadays, however, so perhaps this info I got from my dad, who seemed to like misleading me, is inaccurate? I can't tell.) The "Mya and Kristi" referred to in the dedication--a practice I no longer engage in due to me losing all the friends I dedicated my stories to--were girls with whom I attended school. Mya was my best friend; Kristi was quite nice to me, but I'm not sure why I would dedicate a story to her, we weren't close and never hung out, she was the popular girl. Anyway. 1990.
