TEHUTI'S PER ON THE WEB NOTE: Scribbled poem about the Loch Ness Monster, on the back of the same sheet of paper that "The Poem Of Horus" came from. I can't be sure if I wrote it, but I will include it in case I did. The bad meter and subject matter make it look much like something I would have written. Likely also from 1990.
Look at those people waiting with their cameras Just so they can get a glimpse of me! Maybe I'll just stick out my tail or flipper, Or maybe my neck so they can see That I'm as real as anything in this world! And though I don't mean to brag, I think all of these Scots are thinking Of putting me on their flag! Some people think I'm an otter or A seal or a huge clump of seaweed. If only they'd take a closer look To see I'm very prehistoric, indeed! There are pictures and lots of stories To prove that I exist. I could splash the person who Thinks my picture is a human's fist! But instead of showing myself to all, I'll leave them with all their strife. And even though I hate to admit it, I live a very hectic life! |
