Appearance
Jade is of tall height; with an athletic, lightly muscular, masculine body type; has red eyes (albino); and has white fur and white hair (which she keeps shaved).
Jade has a long scar across the bridge of her nose. She wears a loose shirt and baggy trousers; she often goes barefoot. She binds her chest with strips of cloth, shaves her head, and plucks her eyelashes in order to pass as male; she doesn't speak often (although her voice is deep and rather masculine), and is quite tall, rather muscular, and nearly flat chested, so most people assume she's a man. She has a confident, straightforward, fearless demeanor.

Jet (Brother)
Jade is very close to her brother. Jet has conflicted feelings about her choice to publicly pass herself off as male; on the one hand, he feels he should protect her, and worries that she may end up victimized as a result of her choice; on the other hand, due to her being bigger and physically much stronger than he is, he's quite insecure about his own abilities, and rather envies her. It chafes him that more often than not, she ends up needing to protect him. Still, he goes along with her and keeps her secret. Jade often wishes her brother were more accepting of her choice, yet is grateful for his support.
Doomsday Rat (Occasional Lover)
Jade and D-Day feel drawn to each other as the only albinos they both know, and over their shared conflicted feelings over their senses of self (they both feel they need to put up a facade to interact with others). Their relationship so far is casual as they both value their independence and discretion, and have the chance to meet only occasionally, though they do seem to genuinely understand and care about each other.

*Jade is not a transman or lesbian, though once her gender is discovered these are frequent assumptions. She does not identify as or desire to be anything other than female; she pretends to be male merely to be taken seriously as a fighter by her fellow partisans. Although she does take a few measures to maintain a masculine appearance (binding her chest, shaving her head, plucking her eyelashes), the rest of her physical attributes are natural.
