Appearance
Drake is of average height; with a slender body type (very thin after his captivity); has brown eyes; and has cream fur.
Aside from on his initial missions, Drake does not wear the standard Trench Rat attire of a modified German WWI uniform; instead, he dresses in traditional fatigues and garrison cap or American-style helmet. He either carries a small gold Star of David necklace in his pocket or wears it under his shirt. He tends to have a vaguely sad, serious expression and comes across as rather standoffish and disapproving. He usually stands back and keeps quiet, letting others do the talking. Following his captivity, he's toothless after Dr. Kammler forcibly removes them all, and speaks with a slight lisp; additionally, he's quite thin and bears various scars from other procedures that were performed on him, though he usually keeps these hidden. After his rescue he displays symptoms of PTSD and physical trauma, including a persistent tremor and aversion to cold.

Papillon LaFierre (Lover)
Awkwardly rescues Drake from approaching German soldiers (by attempting to fly him to safety and dropping him in the mud), thus breaking protocol and revealing himself as a partisan spy; the two gradually grow close following this. Their personalities are largely opposite, but they temper each other rather than conflict. Drake tries to hold on to his memories of Papillon to sustain him through his captivity.
