Black is of average height; with a lean/fit body type; has pale gray/silvery eyes; and has black fur.
Black lost his right eye to General Schavitz and usually wears an eyepatch; although he was also gifted a gold, crystal, and enamel false eye by a Roma refugee, he doesn't often display it as it tends to attract superstition. His left ear is scarred and he has a slight limp in his left leg due to the same incident. He dresses in the standard Trench Rat attire of a modified Pickelhaube and Prussian-style uniform, black cape, and armband with sergeant's stripes. He tends to fade into the background and not draw attention to himself.
