July 23, 2021, 3:07:13 AM 7/23/21: r/SketchDaily theme, "Free Draw Friday." SKETCHDAILYBOT!! Where've you BEEN?! 🥺 I actually had my weekly portrait ready to post on time for once but I guess the bot was broken! Anyway, this is an older character named Katrina Witchita, who, yes, was originally an anthropomorphic black cat. And a witch. Not a MAGIC witch, just a regular Wicca-type witch-witch. She's the longtime (formerly off-and-on) girlfriend of my character Damien (Evans). This is the first time she's seen human form so I'm a bit iffy, especially on giving her lipstick. Her odd cropped bangs are a holdover from her original form. No, she does not have blue-striped hair. 🙄 I just read a while back that you shouldn't use white to depict shiny hair, and while I've stubbornly ignored that before now (would just seem weird on, say, one of my American Indian characters), it seemed better suited to Kat.
