September 24, 2021, 3:00:40 AM 9/24/21: r/SketchDaily theme, "Free Draw Friday." Mitchell "Mitch" Barnes, from my novel Minot. He's an occult dabbler who fancies himself to have supernatural powers and to be connected to the area's powerful cult, when it turns out the real cultists think he's a fool and just use him as a patsy. (I'm pretty sure he has some sort of undiagnosed mental illness as well, given his rather grandiose delusions and explosive temper.) He's younger in this drawing, around the age he was in the novel; by now he's been in prison for a good long while and still has a boyish face but has gotten thinner and definitely older due to stress and some nasty experiences.
